Case study

It is an editorial project dedicated to visual communication on interior architecture that deals with the relationships between forms and processes of graphic design and analyzes the concept of design methodology through the study of some important projects both from the past and contemporary. Inspired by modern editorial graphic design, which has seen the birth of many stimulating independent magazines that offer interesting food for thought, my aim was to revive the tradition of some protagonists from the early twentieth century onwards, hosting a wide range of narratives, welcoming different writings and styles, privileging graphic expression, images and contaminations between languages that are also different from each other.Although the project is a story about what has been theorized and realized in the past, the magazine is conceived as a space that builds a discourse on contemporaneity and that attempts to use a single microcosm to tell universal stories and experiences.Halfway between a book and a magazine, the project presents chapters that offer different perspectives on the analyzed theme (technical aspects) and through the succession of ideas and realities in continuous transformation, I tried to bring out the possible connections between tangible facts, potential, transformation prospects and collective perception.
